来自重庆的地下乐队The Deep Green Sea ，成立于2002年，成员主唱几经变动，经费不足，一系列各种各样无法协调的问题…乐队曾一度濒临解散。

“许多接触过The Deep Green Sea的爱乐者，把乐队风格定位为英式摇滚。给成长中的乐队的定位，没有可取性。成长意味着必须不断探索，实验，尝试。所以，乐队的作品包含了迷幻，Post-rock、Brip-pop、Trip-hop、Post- Punk、另类民谣等曲风。在不断的吸收和发展中涉及面很广。”
